February 15: “No Matter Where” Documentary & Discussion – SVSU

“No Matter Where” is a documentary about the end of an era – “an era where doctors and nurses had to deliver care without knowing a patient’s medical history, other than what patients might recall, what family members might have noted, or what individual medical records might contain” (http://www.nomatterwherethemovie.com/#intro). The health care system has come a long way from that, but there is still important work to be done. Great Lakes Heath Connect (GLHC) is part of the transformation needed to improve health outcomes and healthcare value for patients, providers, organizations, and communities. The “No Matter Where” documentary is educational and thought provoking for all audiences, regardless of health information technology understanding. The documentary provides “a glimpse into the lives of patients, healthcare providers, advocates, and adversaries from the public and private sectors.”

You are invited to the showing of “No Matter Where” with Great Lakes Health Connect on Monday, February 15th on the campus of Saginaw Valley State University. Doug Dietzman, GLHC Executive Director will be asking and answering questions after the documentary. The showing is free, but registration is required. Light refreshments provided.
