The holiday season brings with it a sense of reflection.  What are we thankful for?  What has the last year brought?  What are our hopes for the coming year?

First, I am thankful for those who have participated with and supported us this past year.  Thank you, thank you, thank you!  GLHC exists because of the tangible problem-solving solutions and services that you are collaboratively working with us to develop.  From those serving on our Board of Directors to the staff at the smallest clinic, faithfully serving their community, I am so grateful for your investments of time, effort, and dollars.  GLHC is a reflection of your commitment and collaborative spirit.

Second, I am thankful for the GLHC staff.  Our team is passionate, exceptionally skilled, missional in their daily focus, deeply caring towards others, and are a group that I am honored to serve alongside.  My mind also drifts to those on our team that are struggling with significant health issues and personal challenges.  As we rally around them, we invite your thoughts and prayers on their behalf as well.

The Michigan healthcare community has made great strides this year to improve the way healthcare is delivered and coordinated across the state.  Despite the challenges yet to be solved, I know that this next year we will reach exciting milestones together. By making comprehensive healthcare information readily available wherever patient care is delivered or managed, we will to improve health outcomes, healthcare value, and wellness in Michigan.

I hope that this coming holiday season will be one of joy, rest, and peace for you and your family.

Thanks Doug, nice message, and thank you for including those on your team who are struggling. We on the outside don’t know who they are, but good for you for acknowledging them.

Looking forward to growing the connected communities together in the new year.

Happiest of holidays to you, your family and your team.
